What should I do w/ my tree? (bonsai)?
Bought a "ficus gingsen" tree n it's getting weak. I've fallowed all the instructions but nothing.....I also c some "white" stuff around it...Is this reversible?
If the white stuff looks fluffy, like cotton, you've got spider mites and they'll kill the tree. Take some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab and dab the alcohol everywhere you see the fluffy stuff. You'll need to do it several times over about a week to be sure you get them all. The tree will recover if you take care of it per instructions and check it for reinfestation.
Don't freak, you're still a good bonsai daddy, this is VERY common.
